Who is a Caregiver?
Professional Team in Home-based Senior Care Services
As the demand for home-based senior care continues to grow rapidly in Vietnam, the role of caregivers has become increasingly important. However, in reality, this profession is still often misunderstood, undervalued, or seen as informal work.
At Binh My Care, we are committed to redefining the image of caregivers, recognizing them as
healthcare – emotional support – rehabilitation specialists who are professionally trained and truly respected for the value they bring.
Caregivers are the ones who directly deliver the quality of Binh My Care’s services, closely accompanying each Older Adult and supporting their families every day.
Caregiver (CG): Vu Thi Xuan Dung
Becoming a caregiver at Binh My Care has given me financial stability — I can support my children — but more importantly, it has brought meaning to my everyday life. This work comes from a place of kindness. Each day, I talk with the seniors, listen to their worries, help ease their fears about illness, and encourage them to stay optimistic. It reminds me to live more purposefully every single day.
Assistant Technician (AT): Doan Van Khiem
This is a special job. Whenever the patient rests, I also take a moment to rest, but I am always by their side, supporting them in every aspect of daily living. At some point, without even realizing it, the patient and their family began to see me as part of their own family.
